Quality castings are used with resin sand molding, special box type structure and advantageous reinforcement, thus the machine offers high rigidity and perfect vibration absorbing abilities. High-precision three-axis feeding system: 1. VDL series machining centers for adopts linear guideway for three-axis feed. Its features include fast response, good rigidity, high precision and low noise as well as less friction. Z-feeding of vertical machining centers adopts sliding guideway, thus it greatly improve loading capacity of spindle heavy cutting, and provides resistance damp and high anti-vibration features. 2. Machining accuracy is getting much better through good balancing system with supplementary central guiding device in Z-axis, or through cylinder balancing device to guarantee stable fast dual-direction traverse and improve machining accuracy. 3. Y-axis guideway is designed with reasonable structure to support heavy load and thus to guarantee better machining accuracy. 4. C3 grade high precision ball screws are used in all three axes, which provide precision pre-load, better transmission rigidity and reduce heat deformation. 5. High precision laser interferometer is used to compensate ballscrew pitch error and clearance. High-speed precision spindle: 1.Spindle is designed with high rigidity and good accuracy using precise angular ball bearings. 2. Floating type tool pulling system is adopted to avoid load on spindle bearings when tool is released and offers longer bearing life. 3. Synchronically tooth belt with large torque is introduced in spindle transmission to avoid slipping and guarantee free friction and low noise. Fast and reliable tool changing mechanism: 1.Different drum or swing arm type ATC of 16/20/24 tools are available. 2. The required tool can be selected in either directions whichever the nearest and the turret rotates fast, stably and reliably. 3. Tool changing system is fully tested and can satisfy long period continuous working. Cooling system: 1.Temperature control device is adopted to dynamically monitor the spindle temperature and avoid spindle deformation due to temperature increase, thus guaranteeing the working accuracy and longer life of spindle. 2. The working table is designed with coolant grooves.
